An ad agency spent hours making mockups just to show a client what their product might look like on a billboard. We built a tool that does it in seconds, right in the browser.
The problem
Clients need to see their product in context before they commit to a creative direction. But professional mockups, on a billboard, a subway car, a magazine page or a stadium screen, cost time and money before any budget is approved.
Testing several ideas meant several rounds of production, so fast creative iteration was impossible. The agency wanted something quick enough to use live in a pitch meeting.
What we built
- 01
One photo, ten ad placements
Upload a product photo and pick a placement: billboard, subway car, luxury magazine, bus wrap, coffee table, airport screen, building mural, bus shelter, mall escalator or stadium screen. The tool creates a photorealistic mockup.
- 02
A tagline to match
AI writes a tagline from the product image and places it in the mockup. If a format isn’t on the list, the agency describes its own and saves it for next time.
- 03
Change it by asking
A chat panel takes plain-language edits like “make it night-time” or “move the product left”. The tricky part was making it change only what was asked, without the rest of the image drifting. That reliability is what makes it safe to use in front of a client.
- 04
Nothing to install or host
It runs entirely in the browser, with no servers to manage. Finished mockups download in high quality, ready for a presentation.
The result
- Client-ready mockups from a single product photo, in seconds
- Ten built-in placements, plus unlimited custom ones
- AI taglines placed straight into the creative
- Edits in plain language, with no designer needed
- Nothing to host or maintain beyond the files themselves
